East Midlands recruitment firm reaches award final.
Syntax, the East Midlands’ largest independently owned IT and technical recruitment consultancy, has reached the finals of the Derbyshire Business Awards 2007.
The annual awards are open to all businesses in the county and attract a wide range of entries who are then judged on a range of criteria including financial health, innovation, employee involvement, customer service and use of technology.
Syntax, which has been established in Derby since 1987, has been shortlisted to the final four and is the only recruitment consultancy in the final.
Managing Director Roger Frost explained: “The past two years have been phenomenal for Syntax and we felt that the time was right to put ourselves forward for the award to be judged by our business peers.
“The company underwent a management buy-in in July 2005 which elevated four senior managers onto the Board.
